They succeed!

We only have a few days of Ramadhan. Are we succeed as they succeed? Who are they? Generally, as a Muslim we know about War of Badr since we were small. You are lucky if you knew this meaningful history since you were in childhood by your mum's night story telling. You still lucky if you learned it from your secondary school's teacher. Even if you only notice this war at this moment, you are sooooo lucky. Really?

War of Badr

First war in Islam, happened in 17 Ramadhan year 2 of Hijriyyah. Muslim's soldier (Ahl Badr) conquered strategic place at Badr which was a place that had water supply. This place was the place for people that traveled to stop by in order to get water for themselves and for their camels or horses before they continuing their journey. Ahl Badr destroyed the original place of water supply in Badr and build other source for themselves. This war actually unprepared war for Ahl Badr. But, how they won? 313 unprepared Ahl Badr had to face other 1000 prepared Musyrikin's soldier. What was their secret strength? They were all fast that day! Where they get this extraordinary strength?

"GOD has granted you victory at Badr, despite your weakness. Therefore, you shall observe GOD, to show your appreciation" (Ali-Imran:123)

Have faith in Allah and for sure Allah will help you.

Lailatulqadr

We have only a few days left. Most of us forget about how meaningful the last 10 days of Ramadhan. We are all busy with others; Balik kampung, decorating house, prepare biscuits and cookies, searching for new clothes and many more. Tak salah....but, instead of all these...where is our time to perform more ibadahs and grab the opportunity of lailatulqadr?

" Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Predestination. Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is! The Night of Power has more blessings than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees. (The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn" (Al-Qadr:1-5)

Lailatulqadr is better than one thousand months. To revealed the importance of this night, we should strive harder to perform spiritual training such as fasting, praying, reciting the Holy Quran and giving charity. We do not know this Ramadhan is our last Ramadhan.
